Sweedish

Sweedish massage is generally the base of a massage to warm up the tissues in order for them to allow the work to take place.  This is also encorperated to flush out the toxins after working the areas.  This can also be the main massage if someone only wishes to relax.  It helps to put people into another world and melt the worries away.

Trigger Point

A trigger point is a knot or ball of toxins that has formed in specific areas and usually refers pain to an additional area.  The trigger point application is usually not very comfortable due to this.  In order to perform trigger point therapy, the tissue is warmed up with sweedish massage and the trigger point is located and applied constant pressure directly on the knot.  This in turn, breaks down the knot and is generally released.

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue is used mainly to seperate tissue that has attached to bone.  Frozen shoulder issues and restricted range of motion are two specific things this can improve, but not limited to.  Deep Tissue is very deep work and is generally uncomfortable during the application and following the next few days of the massage.  Water is the main sorce of decreasing this discomfort.  It rehydrates the tissues and flushes out the toxins.  Water is the ONLY thing that does this and is crutial for the massage to work to the best advantage.

When receiving my massage, it is a combination of many modalities in order to break through areas and get them back to normal.  The client is ALWAYS in control of my pressure and only needs to voice their opinion and pressure will be changed.

Massage therapy is proven to help regulate moods (depression & anxiety), regulate blood pressure, increase healthy sleeping, concentration, and circulation.
